Day Eighteen

We've spent the full day in Jordan, Minnesota, with my mother, sister Reba, and sister Sarah and her three teenage boys.  Sarah's oldest, Cody, graduated from high school last weekend and his graduation party is tomorrow, Friday evening.  We spent much of the afternoon cutting up fruits and vegetables for two different types of salads, and tomorrow we will help with final prep work!  The prep work has provided plenty of time for conversation as we catch up with one another.  Our oldest brother and his family will join us tomorrow, too.  Sarah is my sister that is on oxygen 24/7 and continues to cope with a lung disease which drastically affects her overall help.  It's a blessing to be able to spend some extended time with her and her boys.

We will enjoy some sights in the area on Saturday, will worship with the family at Sarah's church, and then Lynne, Ryan and I will head to Sawyer, Michigan for the week's mission trip with Habitat.  It will be about an 8 hour drive on Sunday, but we will have been well rested for it.

God continues to supply great moments of rest and reflection as I've been reading a couple of books purchased at the pastor's conference at Moody Bible Institute.  More on those books later.
